As the UAE celebrates its 50th National Day on 2 December 2021, we at Burhani are excited at the possibilities that the next 50 years will unlock.
H. H. Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE announced 2021, as the ‘Year of the 50th’ to commemorate 50 years of the UAE’s formation in 1971.
Foundational pillars
The activities marking the UAE’s Golden Jubilee are built on the following four pillars:
- Launching the ‘Year of the 50th’ with a festive spirit that engages all those who call the UAE their home
- Calling upon all UAE nationals to contemplate the values and achievements of the past in honour of the UAE’s Founding Fathers
- Inspiring youth to have their vision about the next 50 years and supporting them to make quality national achievements
- Championing long-term initiatives and impactful policies to empower citizens and residents to do their part.
